Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1 (7 oz) jar of marshmallow fluff (or marshmallow crème)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the Fudge Base
- Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil. This will make it easier to remove the fudge once it sets.
- Melt the Sugar and Butter: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, butter, and whole milk. Place over medium heat and stir continuously until the sugar has dissolved and the butter has melted.
- Bring to a Boil: Once the sugar has dissolved, increase the heat slightly and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Allow it to cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened slightly.
- Add Marshmallow Fluff: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the marshmallow fluff, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until everything is smooth and well combined.
- Add the White Chocolate Chips: Stir in the white chocolate chips until they have completely melted into the fudge mixture.
Set the Fudge
- Pour into the Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Let It Cool: Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Cut and Serve
- Cut the Fudge: Once the fudge has set, use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or rectangles.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the fudge chilled or at room temperature. If you’re gifting it, place the pieces in a decorative tin or gift box.
