For the Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite variety)

Instructions

Prepare the Meatballs

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  3. Form Meatballs: Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce until well blended.

Combine and Serve

  1. Coat the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the sauce until well coated.
  2. Serve Warm: Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy while warm!
