- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear the Chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Make the Sauce
- Combine the Sauce Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add Sauce to Chicken: Pour the sauce mixture over the seared chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
Bake the Chicken
- Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Rest: Once done, remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
