Crockpot Candy for the Holidays

  • Author: Martha
  • Total Time: 2 hrs.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Candy:

  • 1 pound (16 oz) chocolate almond bark or melting chocolate
  • 1 cup roasted salted peanuts
  • 1 cup cashews (or your favorite nuts)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup pretzel pieces (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  1. Chop the Chocolate: If using chocolate bars instead of almond bark, chop them into small pieces for even melting.
  2. Gather Your Nuts: Measure out the peanuts, cashews, and any other mix-ins you prefer.

Combine in the Crockpot

  1. Add Ingredients: In a large crockpot, combine the chocolate almond bark, peanuts, cashews, marshmallows, and pretzel pieces (if using).
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Cover and cook on low for about 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes until the chocolate is melted and everything is well combined.

Form the Candy

  1. Scoop Out the Mixture: Once melted, use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Let Set: Allow the candy to cool and harden at room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
