Instructions

Make the Cookie Base

  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix It All Together: Stir until everything is well combined and you have a thick, dough-like consistency. Add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until the dough is a bright Grinchy green.
  3. Chill for a Moment: Place the bowl in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to make the dough a bit easier to handle.

Form the Cookies

  1. Shape the Cookies: Using your hands or a spoon, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
  2. Flatten Slightly: Gently flatten each cookie to form a thick disc shape.

Decorate

  1. Add the Red Hearts: Place a red candy heart in the center of each cookie to represent the Grinch’s heart.
