  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

For Decorating:

  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Drizzle of dark or milk chocolate (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Spoons

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Add Peppermint Flavor: Stir in the peppermint extract, mixing until fully combined.
  3. Dip the Spoons: Hold each spoon by the handle and dip the bowl of the spoon into the melted chocolate, coating it generously. Tap gently to remove any excess chocolate.
  4. Decorate the Spoons: While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle crushed candy canes or peppermint candies onto the chocolate-coated part of each spoon. If you’re adding sprinkles or a drizzle of chocolate, do so now.
  5. Chill the Spoons: Place the spoons on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 10 minutes or until the chocolate has fully set.
