Instructions
Prepare the Shrimp Mixture
- Chop the Shrimp: Start by finely chopping the shrimp into small pieces. You want them to hold their shape but be small enough to easily spread on the bread.
- Make the Shrimp Mixture: In a bowl, combine the chopped shrimp with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, parsley, green onion, and garlic. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Season: Taste the shrimp mixture and season with salt and pepper as needed. The flavors should be savory with a little tang from the mustard and lemon.
Prepare the Toasts
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Butter the Bread: Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will give your toasts a crispy golden exterior.
- Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the slices of bread butter-side down on the baking sheet.

Assemble the Shrimp Toasts
- Top the Toasts: Once the bread has toasted, remove it from the oven. Spoon a generous amount of the shrimp mixture onto each slice of toast, spreading it evenly to cover the surface.
- Bake Again: Return the topped toasts to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp topping is cooked through and slightly golden on top.

- Garnish: After baking, sprinkle the toasts with a pinch of paprika for color and an extra layer of flavor.
