Sugar Cookie Dough Dip

  • Author: Martha
  • Total Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dip:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated*)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

For Dipping:

  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Animal crackers, graham crackers, or vanilla wafer cookies
  • Fruit (strawberries, apple slices, etc.)

Instructions

Make the Dip

  1. Beat the Butter and Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Sugars and Vanilla: Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Beat until well combined.
  3. Add the Flour: Slowly add in the heat-treated flour, mixing until smooth and fully incorporated.
  4. Add Powdered Sugar and Cream: Add powdered sugar and heavy cream, continuing to mix until the dip reaches a thick, smooth consistency. If it’s too thick, add a little more cream to reach your desired texture.
  5. Chill (Optional): For a colder dip, cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving. However, you can enjoy it immediately!

Serve the Dip

  1. Garnish: Sprinkle some colorful sprinkles on top to make it extra festive!
  2. Set Up a Dipping Station: Arrange a variety of dippers around the dip, such as cookies, crackers, or fresh fruit.
