Instructions
Prepare the Dough
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in the maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in Chips: Stir in the white chocolate chips with a spatula.
Shape and Bake
- Scoop Dough: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers still look soft.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
