Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip

  • Author: Martha
  • Total Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dip:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

For Dipping:

  • Graham crackers, pretzels, or animal crackers
  • Fresh fruit, such as strawberries, apple slices, or banana chunks
  • Marshmallows
  • Cookies or brownies for extra indulgence

Instructions

Prepare the Dip

  1. Blend the Cream Cheese and Sugar: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. This will be the base of your dip, so make sure it’s nice and smooth.
  2. Add Vanilla: Once the cream cheese and sugar are blended, add the vanilla extract. Beat again for 30 seconds to incorporate the flavor evenly.
  3. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping. You can use a spatula to do this, being careful not to deflate the airy texture. The whipped topping will give the dip a light and fluffy consistency.
  4. Stir in the Chocolate Chips: Once everything is mixed together, stir in the mini chocolate chips. These little bits of chocolate will provide sweet bursts of flavor in every scoop.
  5. Taste and Adjust: Give the dip a taste to make sure it’s sweet enough for your liking. If you want it a little sweeter, feel free to add a bit more powdered sugar. It’s all about your personal preference!

Serve the Dip

  1. Transfer to a Serving Dish: Once your dip is ready, transfer it to a large serving bowl or individual cups for a fun presentation. It’s the perfect treat for sharing!
  2. Prepare Dippables: Arrange your dippables, like graham crackers, pretzels, fruit, and cookies, around the dip. You can even get creative and make a “dip station” with various options for everyone to choose from.
