Ingredients
Scale
For the Rolls:
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 16 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
Prepare the Crescent Rolls
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
- Unroll the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Separate the dough into 8 individual triangles.
- Add Toppings: Place 2 slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pepperoni.
- Roll Them Up: Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip. Make sure the filling stays inside the dough as you roll it.
- Bake: Place the rolled-up crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re spaced evenly apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Cool Slightly: Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the Rolls
- Serve with Pizza Sauce: Set out a small bowl of pizza sauce for dipping. The warm, tangy sauce pairs perfectly with the cheesy rolls.
- Optional Garnishes: If you’d like, sprinkle a little Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper on top of the rolls for extra flavor and spice.
