  • 20 slices of pepperoni, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Prepare the Dough and Fillings

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce, followed by the chopped pepperoni.

Shape the Twists

  1. Fold and Cut: Fold the dough in half lengthwise to sandwich the fillings. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the dough into 12 strips.
  2. Twist: Gently twist each strip and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

Bake the Twists

  1. Brush with Butter: Combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the twists for extra flavor.
  2. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
