For the Salad:
- 2 balls of burrata cheese
- 3 cups arugula or mixed greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 peach or pear, thinly sliced (optional for a fruity twist)
- 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts or walnuts
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
For the Dressing:
- 3 tbsp olive oil (high-quality recommended)
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze or vinegar
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Wash and dry the greens, halve the cherry tomatoes, and slice the peach or pear if using.
- Toast the Nuts: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the pine nuts or walnuts until golden and fragrant. Be careful not to burn them!
- Arrange the Salad Base: Spread the arugula or mixed greens on a large serving platter or individual plates.
- Add the Burrata: Place the burrata balls in the center of the salad. Use a knife to gently score the tops to reveal their creamy interior.

- Prepare the Dressing: Whisk together olive oil, balsamic glaze, honey, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
