Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16 slices of pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Crescent Rolls
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Separate Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Add the Filling
- Spread Sauce: Lightly spread about a teaspoon of marinara sauce onto each triangle, leaving a little space around the edges.
- Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
- Add the Toppings: Place 2 slices of pepperoni (or your choice of toppings) on each triangle.
Roll and Bake
- Roll Them Up: Starting from the wider end, roll each crescent triangle up towards the point, tucking the fillings inside as best as possible.
- Brush with Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush it over each rolled crescent.
- Sprinkle Cheese: Optionally, sprinkle grated Parmesan over the tops for extra flavor.
- Bake: Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool and Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
