Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls

  • Author: Martha
  • Total Time: 25 min.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices of pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crescent Rolls

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Separate Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

Add the Filling

  1. Spread Sauce: Lightly spread about a teaspoon of marinara sauce onto each triangle, leaving a little space around the edges.
  2. Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
  3. Add the Toppings: Place 2 slices of pepperoni (or your choice of toppings) on each triangle.

Roll and Bake

  1. Roll Them Up: Starting from the wider end, roll each crescent triangle up towards the point, tucking the fillings inside as best as possible.
  2. Brush with Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush it over each rolled crescent.
  3. Sprinkle Cheese: Optionally, sprinkle grated Parmesan over the tops for extra flavor.
  4. Bake: Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cool and Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
